ProFlowers Review

Saturday, July 10, 2010

This is my first official review as a blogger and I am so excited.  If you have any suggestions or comments of how I should present my future reviews I am always open for suggestions.  Thank you everyone so much for taking the time to read this review and thank you ProFlowers for the opportunity to review one of your products.

I recently had the opportunity to do a review for ProFlowers.com and I was able to choose a product that I would like to review.
After going to their site and trying to decide between all of the many different products that they offer I finally decided to choose the Azalea Bonsai.

this picture was taken off of the ProFlowers website

I personally love Azaleas and I have always wanted a Bonsai so what better time than now to get this.  I have ordered products from ProFlowers.com in the past and I have always been happy with them.  After I chose which product that I wanted to receive and review I let the nice people at ProFlowers know my choice, that was on July 3rd (remember it was a holiday week-end) and I received it on July 8th.
I was so excited, I carefully opened the box, which is not something I am usually too careful about and there it was all packaged so well that I probably didn't have to be extra careful with it.

Included with the Azalea Bonsai was also a care guide, which is something I needed, because I am not one to have a green thumb.  I killed a cactus one time.  How do you kill a cactus?  So the instructions told me everything that I need to do for the proper care.

I actually thought I was supposed to keep it inside,
but per the instructions I am supposed to keep it outside.

This works for me though because we live in a town home and there are azaleas everywhere around us.  The one thing is I did think that when I received the plant it would have Azalea blooms on it, but that goes to show how much I know about plants:)

I am excited to see when it blooms and I think that this would make a good gift for someone.  You can buy them flowers, but why would you want to when you can buy them a plant that will last longer.

You can find the Azalea Bonsai at ProFlowers.com for $39.99 and also check out some of the other nice items that they have for gifts, they have all kinds of different things that would make great gifts.

I received this product for free to give my honest opinion from ProFlowers.com.  Anything that is said in this review is my honest opinion if you have any questions feel free to let me know-LPhilips

That is so cute! I just got my bonsai from proflowers to review a few days ago and I love it. I picked out the hibiscus bonsai and am waiting for it to bloom... exciting!

Great review! I love azaleas but don't have time to plant at the time, so this would be a good alternative! I'll have to check them out. Thanks for the heads up.

Very neat - I've never thought of giving a bonzai tree for a gift! I don't think I could leave one outside at my home though, the weather is far too unpredictable!
